ashgeezer Posted May 26, 2008 Share Posted May 26, 2008 (edited) I bought a standard mex precision a few weeks ago and it has the 60th anniversary meddalion on the back of the headstock, did fender put these on all their models for that year or just the anniversary editions, my serial number dates it to an 05/06 model (MZ5). The ltd ones had a special badge on which may have had some kind of mock diamond in as well as something inlaid in the top of the case. There ARE 60th Anniversary Limited Edition models but you'd know it if you had one.
