paul_5 Posted January 26, 2013 Share Posted January 26, 2013 Anybody else recording fretless bass with just a tinge of valve overdrive? I'm absolutely [i]loving[/i] the sound of it. I'm two tracks into redoing all of the bass for a solo project (because I can) and have decided that the entire project will be played on a fretless (not so much the guitars though). As a massive Rush fan though I like my Jazz bass tones to have a little bit of 'hair' on them, so I cranked up the DHA the other night and, well, BOOM! I've finally found 'my sound'. (smug smiley).
