JellyKnees Posted January 4, 2013 Share Posted January 4, 2013 (edited) Ok, I'm flogging my Ibanez SR505 which I bought from crack convertors online early last year. Apart from a couple of tiny marks near the neck pickup, the bass was absolutely mint when I bought it - it didn't appear to have ever been played. It has a few new minor scratches along the top edge of the body, but otherwise is just as good as when I got it. It has never been gigged, only used at home/rehearsal. I've set it up with a reasonably low action and it plays really well. I'm selling it because, although I really like the playablility of the bass (lightweight, slim neck etc), I wasn't entirely happy with the tone I was getting for some of the funkier things that I play, so I've upgraded to a SR1205 which is to my mind is a definite improvement. Don't let that put you off though, loads of people seem to love the SR500 series, so what do I know.... (if I can find them I'll also throw in the original Elixir's it came with - I really don't care for them myself) I want £300 for it, and would prefer collection from Birkenhead if possible, however I will post if absolutely necessary - £30 for Postage and packing Some photos...
