The reason is that I have found a fantastic Jazz bass and after last nights gig I cant see me using anything other than Jazz basses again. I tried the P bass thing really hard but nothing works for me better than a jazz bass. Details: Body: Squier, vintage modified body in white with tort scratchplate. Thumb rest recently added. Neck: 1980s Squier Jazz neck. Refinished in satin nitrocellulose. Fake Fender Jazz decal added Pickup: Seymour Duncan SPB-3 Quarter Pounder Electrics: Pots CTS 250k, switch craft jack, wiring by KiOgon Knobs: P bass, silver Bridge: Wilkinson It plays great.
