Prunesquallor
As a practice amp, my MB112 (the old one) is pretty much perfect. It was just what I was looking for: lightweight, headphones out, line in for MP3s. I've had no problems with it, but then again it hasn't been out of the spare room, and I haven't tried the DI. I figured it would be good for small gigs, like you have, but I have yet to take that step...

Musicman20
Thanks. Because...?
It will be built in the USA, with a higher re-sale value, with better (IMO) aesthestics and tighter QC. Also, the DI problem is now sorted. fretlessguy
The MK 2 model is just now arriving in the states. It has some changes that were done in light of customer feedback. It costs about $40 dollars more. The cheap plastic grill that rattled has been dispensed for a more traditional cloth one, a carrying handle that fits flush with the body, and the vinyl covering has been replaced with what appears to be a duracoat spray-on coating. Also, a matching speaker cabinet with a built in 200 watt amplifier will allow the rig to play much larger places (400 watts total).
