JackLeRipper
Hi, I have Warwick Fortress One bass that I bought from new back in 1997. I believe that these are the German made versions and are quite rare now. It's in very good condition apart from some belt scratches on the back. I was hoping that someone might be able to tell me how much these guitars would roughly be worth now? Thanks very much for your time. throwoff
Not as much as you might hope I am afraid mate. Warwicks are pretty much on their arse when it comes to the second hand market right now. The last one to sell on here (http://basschat.co.uk/topic/187251-warwick-fortress-masterman-status-s3000-pics-up/page__p__1813075__hl__warwick%20fortress__fromsearch__1#entry1813075) went for £500 and there is one up for sale at the moment for just £400 (http://basschat.co.uk/topic/186182-warwick-fortress-1-1994-for-sale/page__p__1834240__hl__warwick%20fortress__fromsearch__1#entry1834240) Lovely bass you have there, unless you really need it sold I would keep hold of it, eventually the market will pick up again. badboy1984
like above said, don't sell it unless you really need the cash, these fortress is way better then the corvette model which sell just slightly less then the asking price. If i have the cash i think i will pick one up lol.
Muzz
Yep, I've got one at the mo, and it's a fantastic bass (I don't like the color of mine, but hey) but worth hundreds less than it should be, so I'm hanging onto it.
deepbass5
2nd all that from above. I had a 5 string with jazz pickups the wenge necks are great. These are better basses than the re-sale price indicates so grow to love it, you will miss it if you sell.

I still felt gutted and should of kept it specially the 4 string corvette i had. The 4 string had EMG active pickup and John East 3 Band EQ preamp and the 5 string had Bartolini pickup and also John East 3 band EQ preamp. Both corvette sound super fantastic an that gutted feeling still exist today ....... Not to mention both sold for less then
