Hi All

I'm reluctantly flogging my Vintage VJ96MR ICON Series Fretless Bass guitar (based on Jaco's Bass of Doom) as the need to build a replica 50's precision has got the better of me and I need to generate some dosh to enable me to start.

It has an amazing sound which everyone comments on and is really nice to play, I had for a month or 2 some Rotosound Roundwounds on it but then changed to flats, so there is a few marks on the fretboard which you can only see at the right angle but they have not penetrated the wood (you can see in the photo of the fretboard).

The dings and scratches on this bass are all part of the distressing and no extra ones added by me!

Puting up for £190 and I would prefer collection from Portsmouth as I would like the buyer to see it and play it before buying, but would be willing to post (via courier service) at extra cost.

Bought one of these myself as a back-up for my Wal fretless during concerts..
Nice bass for that price, proof that you don't have to pay a lot for an inspiring fretless..
I recorded a YT-clip a while ago to give an idea of the sound it is capable to deliver..
