oldslapper Posted August 29, 2012 Share Posted August 29, 2012 (edited) SOLD SOLD SOLD This is a Squire Telecaster, fitted with Baja 4 position pickup selector and S1 switch. The body has had some relic work done, and a Fender logo applied to headstock. I had some new black machineheads and new bridge/saddle fitted, when I had it set up. The holes where the previous tuners are still visible, but do no affect the structure. It's currently fitted with DR Blackbeauties strings 9's (I think). It's a lovely guitar to play, and the Baja system really open up the tonal options. Would rather not sell this, but I've bought something I've been after for a long time, so selling some bits. [/quote] Hi, No I'm afraid the original tuners weren't too stable, so I got rid of them. I bought black wilkinsons as I preferred the look of black. The the big but with this one is that the traditional fender bridge is shorter than the squier ones. To retrofit a traditional plate you will leave three screw holes from the squier bridge that need to be plugged with dowels. Can't see that from these pics. In addition, the truss rod access is unfinished on an affinity but this one looks painted. Bit of a mystery body but if it sounds fine, who cares ?
