Amp and cab deal, is it worth it?

Sorry, rushed answer from me.

What I was asking is do you play your bass through PA or is it to be your "rig"? If it's for your main rig, I would say your bass deserves better. For a backup, it's fine & cheap enough. Or if it's all you can budget for, get it & upgrade the cab & amp as & when you can afford to.

Well TBH as I don't play in a band I'd only be using it at home so its probably a bit over the top.
As its a choice of the cube or the ashdown maybe I'll just keep the cube
