OK then

Well just got BFD 2 and am loving it! a really solid program and its only a bonus that it comes with a Bonham kit to start out with :)

but one thing I have noticed is that there is always reverb on the bass drum, now am not the biggest fan of this.

has any one else noticed this? and also id there any way around it?

Just wondering if any else has encountered this? I thought that they would have done some recordings in a dead room.

Any help would be great.

Cheers

Are you sure it's not just the room & ambience mic ?
Two sliders on the right of the interface.

The help menu or Youtube has a lot of good tips.

I turned them off so its just each drum direct, but still there is reverb.

I think thats just how the recorded it. Which is a little bit annoying as the drums will always have there own reverb, which I have learnt already is a bit of a pain when mixing with BFD 2.

Sure its not the natural ringing decay of the drum?

Bonham's kit wasnt exactly dampened for a start!

In fact you'll probably find all the toms ringing sympathetically to the kick drum....
