Shockwave Posted May 30, 2012 Share Posted May 30, 2012 Hi, We're Drive By Squirrel, a recently formed 4-piece, Swindon based pop-punk band with members in their 20s & 30s playing covers and original material in the style of Blink 182, Bowling for Soup, NOFX, New Found Glory, Millencolin and all the other up-beat, energetic bands we loved in the late 90s/early 00s. Except we're not any more because we lost our vocalist. We've looked everywhere - down the back of the sofa, behind the fridge, even in the bassist's laundry basket but sadly have come to the conclusion that we're going to have to find ourselves a new one. So this is your big chance! An unmissable opportunity to be part of the most exciting thing to happen to Swindon since a lorry hit the railway bridge that time! If you can sing we want to hear from you. If you can also write lyrics that would be an advantage. If you can also play guitar or another instrument that would be ideal, but not essential. We can offer an attractive package of no pay, bonus or company car, but regular practises (every 1-2 weeks), reliable band members, a fair few original tracks (albeit a little short on lyrics at the moment) and hopefully some gigs in the near future.
