Input mixer?

In my home studio set-up, I'm looking to purchase a power amp that would take inputs from 3 sources:

1) Bass pre-amp (mono)
2) Audio interface output (stereo)
3) Computer soundcard output (stereo)

Can anybody recommend a cheapish bit of kit that would allow me to switch seamlessly between the three inputs? Most of the mixers I can find tend to only have one stereo input and two mono inputs (i.e. channels 1, 2 and 3&4).

Cheers

Mark

How cheap ?

Behringer do the Xenyx 1002 for around £50

It has 2 x mono inputs, 2 x stereo (L/R) inputs and also has a separate "tape in" on RCA phonos.

Many people don't rate Behringer for reliability problems but if you make sure you have a warranty and treat it right then it should be ok.

There are similar and slightly larger format mixers available from other makers

The 502 is even smaller but still covers the inputs you need: http://www.behringer.com/EN/Products/502.aspx

The older Eurorack range UB502 can be found dirt cheap used on eBay. They brought out a newer Xenyx range that has a 'British' EQ and 'Xenyx' instead of 'IMP' preamps but is otherwise pretty much the same.

Remember most budget mixers including this one are not suitable for directly connecting a passive bass, but you say you're gonna be using a preamp so you'll be fine!

I can recommend the 802. I looked at the 1002 and actually preferred the specs of the 802 because though the 1002 has 2 more inputs, the 802 has more channels with EQ, if that matters to you at all. I bought the 802 and it's great.

It's easy to compare the three different mixers using the PDF manual:
