Alternative to Ultralite Tuners?

Recently received a bass in a trade and unfortunately two of the four tuners need to be replaced, so given it's an old Harmony i am not going to find like for like tuners anywere, so will be replacing all of them.

Basically, i am not comfortable drilling my bass, and don't have the money to pay anyone to do it for me, so given that majority of tuners would require 4 new holes to be drilled, i have looked at alternatives. The Hipshot Ultralite would only need 1 hole to be drilled for each tuner, but they are very expensive for what they are. However today i have found these:

does anyone have any experience with them? They are a bigger and no doubt not as fluid as the ultralites, and the screw is curiously at the top rather than the bottom (will this have an affect on the stability of the tuner?), however the price seems spot on.

Recommendations?
