dmccombe7 Posted March 6, 2012 Share Posted March 6, 2012 Just noted tonight that the blue light seen through the valve "window" is no longer working. Amp seems fine otherwise. Is under a year old and expect warranty to cover any repair. Anyone else had this problem with their GB 600 or 900 Streamliner amp. ? dmccombe7 Posted March 7, 2012 Author Share Posted March 7, 2012 Appears so. Mark from Bass Direct said he had heard of it and that Fender UK will repair under warranty. That's fine as long as its under warranty but what happens after that. If its a known problem at development and manufacturing stage then surely the manufacturer should shoulder the responsibility even after warranty and if required issue a recall to ensure permanent fix. Mines is still within 1st year so it is a bit of a worry. PLEASE NOTE that it doesn't affect the amp itself and is only for show.
