Ibanez Affirma - Rolf Spuler design classic - Sold pending

I bought this bass a month ago from Kev Hopper (aka Spoombung), the talented ex-Stump and solo bass (and musical saw) player. I absolutely love the design, which is so far from my usual boring Fender obsession its untrue, and the dead-on 7 lb weight is just fab for someone with a dodgy back like me. The problem is the neck dimensions are very Jazz-like and just not terribly comfortable to me (I prefer a slabby Precision or Wal type neck, especially since I broke my hand in a couple of places 18 months ago and it tends to cramp up with narrow necks).

I paid £600 but have since had the broken E string piezo bridge saddle refurbished by Rolf Spuler in Switzerland (I have re-soldered it in and the piezos all now balance perfectly), so I'm bumping up the FS price very slightly to reflect this, to £625. Comes with Affirma hard case (slightly scraped/bashed and missing one of three locks, but perfectly functional). I should be able to post this as I happen to have a cardboard box that fits the hard case like a glove.

Here's Kev's original FS ad with loads of pictures and details

Here's a couple of Kev's pics which I am sure he would be cool about me using:
