I want to take the head out of the combo but it's internally wired so I want to 'cut' the speaker wires that connects to the amp & drill hole in chassis then solder the same 'cut' wires to a 'jack socket' (not speakon) so I can connect any cab to the (Eden Nemesis) amplifier. Can I use a normal 1/4" jack socket ? Does it need to be grounded or earthed etc ? thanks Simon Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
