Hi guys hopin someone may shed light on a problem... going on a small tour next week had rehersal yestaday was playing and then started to stuggle to hear my amp.

I have an ashdown ABMEVOII rack mounted head running with an ashdown 4x10 cab. i have power in the head although in order to hear anything both the input and output are at the 3 o'clock position... now normally that should blow the room im in apart!! but my guitarist was quite happily listiening to the cab to see if the speakers were workin...Ive changed leads changed speakons and its still the same... any ideas on what it could be coz im panicking now... thanks Jimmy x

If you're having to crank the input AND the output levels, it suggests to me the problem is external i.e. before the amp.
Have you tried another bass ?
