garbev Posted November 20, 2011 Share Posted November 20, 2011 Afternoon All, I'm selling a Mex 57 Classic P Bass. I've used the original fiesta red body for a '62 project and replaced that with a 3 piece solid Alder sunburst body. The neck with reverse tuners and all the hardware, bridge, pickups, and gold anodised scratchplate are all from the original bass. So basically all original apart from the body. The bass is in excellent condition, no dings or deep scratches, neck is beautiful, aged finish, setup with a very low action. Sounds like a vintage Precision, plays great. Don't know how much it weighs, it seems the same as when the original body was attached. One fault I can find is a gap(around 1mm) on the scratchplate above the controls...see pix. I'm asking £300 plus P&P including a gigbag.
