Nibody Posted October 15, 2011 Share Posted October 15, 2011 I now own an Ampeg BA115HP - pushes 220w to a 4 ohm 15" speaker. Has no outputs for external cabs. I'm just curious, is there any way of wiring in a socket for an extension cab. I have a strong feeling the answer is no as the amp would go boom, but thought I'd ask. bigjohn Posted October 15, 2011 Share Posted October 15, 2011 You'd have to swap out the cone for 8ohm one and use an 8ohm extension. You'd be better off just getting another amp.
