Babicz vs Bad ass Bass Bridges

On the website the Babicz looks pretty chunky. I liked the badass I had on my old Jazz Bass as the baseplate was thin and enabled me to get a very low action but I never felt it made the bass sound any different to the bog standard Fender Bridge. On the other hand the Fender vintage bridge with spiral saddles I fitted did alter the sound of the jazz and I ended up with a much toppier sound (which I didn't like much and made me go straight back to the badass).
You won't get much better soundwise than the badass you already have. Why do you want to change - are you after something that can adjust the string spacing on your bass or something? Or do you just like the look of the Babicz?
