Few questions to anyone who knows a bit about it: 1) Is it good? 2) Is it worth £269? 3) Is it worth buying something as big as it is? Many thanks. Delberthot Posted October 5, 2011 Share Posted October 5, 2011 From what i can remember, they were made for a couple of years around 1999 - 2001 so its already 10 years old. They seem to be pretty well specced and Laney has 'forgotten' to mention the weight in the instruction manual but its likely to be heavy. You'll be paying shop prices for it, does it come with any kind of warranty, even 3 months, if not then you'd be as well getting something in a private sale. Bigwan Posted October 7, 2011 Share Posted October 7, 2011 I had one of these heads for a few years. It was reasonable, but not really good enough to leave a lasting impression. For a little more money you could do MUCH better on the second hand market (for example I bought an orange terror bass for £300 + p&p - sounds much better to me and is STUPIDLY loud/small - the Laney is sizeable, and not light either).
