I am a refugee from the now defunct bassmasta.com and had no idea there was a British bass forum. Wish I'd known sooner. Been playing for almost three years, learning very slowly. I play an Ibanez SR600 and a Squier P-Bass, Peavey TKO115 amp and a Zoom 708-BFX pedal. Main influences are Steve Harris, Geddy Lee, Roger Waters etc. I like most kinds of rock and metal, can't stand the x-factor type stuff and not toon keen on the trend of "roaring" in the newer metal bands, with the notable exception of Angela Gossow of Arch Enemy.
