bassmate Posted June 20, 2011 Share Posted June 20, 2011 Up for sale is my beloved Lakland USA 5594 USA Deluxe with the following features: - Lovely quilted maple top - 35" Inch Neck - Swamp Ash Body - Rosewood Fretboard - Bartolini Pick-Ups / electronic With these basses all classic Leo sounds from Stingray over Precision to Jazz are just a switch away. Plus Laklands are well known for their great sounding low B strings. The bass is in very good condition (I would call it near to new) and comes with the original deluxe case. I'm asking 2.400 EUR plus shipping (the bass is located in Germany). Please feel free to ask any questions. A good friend of mine posted a track on SoundCloud where I've played on - using this Lakland - a few years ago. Even if you're not interested in the bass, the track is worth a listen, since it features Robert Palmer (coming in 2nd Verse). It has been one of his last tracks before he died. What a great singer, and big loss ...
