So I've been wanting to learn to play bass for years and i'm finally taking the plunge - i turned 20 last month and thought i may as well give it a shot! Been lurking around the forums for the past week or so trying to soak up as much knowledge as possible to avoid amateur mistakes (although i know they'll come regardless!).
