Karey Posted March 27, 2011 Share Posted March 27, 2011 I just got some guitar related bits from the States that came to £100 plus £40 shipping and customs here held it for a week and then charged me £28 (£20 VAT + £8 handling charge). They did not charge me import duty as it was just below the amount they said. At £132 from America, it will probably attract duty as well and extra VAT on the duty. In essence, it keeps a 'dormant' bass awake by putting a continuous vibration through it. I've never come across this before and the guys on the TB site aren't convinced either.
