Its a 2004 model, one of the early models before they started using the Strat style jack sockets on them. This one has black knurled knobs but I do have original ufo knobs that can be replaced if you want them. It's a great bass, but I just use my Stingray more and more and this bass just isn't getting the use it deserves. It sounds great, its completely unmarked, it looks immaculate. Took it to band practice and it is apparently the best looking bass I've ever shown up with. (Mind you, they've said that every time I've turned up with a new bass!)
