Whats your average turnover? And you doing any to order? Or anything a bit more custom?
turnover is very minimal. im only in my second year and have made 10 or so instruments of varying quality. my builds have only recently reached a place i can honestly say i'm very proud of, and i've just about learned all my lessons from trial and error (even lost a bit of my left thumb about a year ago). i do offer a full satisfaction or your money back guarantee, along with a lifetime guarantee against any build and parts issues. custom work is all i aim at now, but i keep building all the time regardless. i also work full time. i aim to keep my prices as low as i feasibly can and that is my plan for the future also. i honestly think that a lot of 'handmade' guitars are heavily overpriced. i don't do paint or laquers due to space requirements but all going well, i plan to have a more suitable workshop in the next year in which spraying will be possible. in the case of a custom order, i work with the customer to acheive a body shape which they are happy with and which satisfies my ideas regarding weight and balance etc. i also will only use hipshot tuners and bridges(i've yet to use any metal bridges due to aesthetics and weight) and also prefer to use imp pickups, as i've played a big part in their development and have a close relationship with ben (not sexual), + ben offers any spec i/you desire, tapped coils, magnet choice, coil sizes etc. thanks. jon
Hi Jon,

I'm not in a position to justify buying a handmade custom instrument. But I'm really pleased to see local people actually making stuff. I wish you well for your luthurial future!

I think I saw one of your basses, a 5 string fretless in Intasound Music in Narborough road. It looked very well made.
hi mate. yea one of the early ones. i may take another one down sometime. i think the guitar workshop in ibstock would have one as i know warren and duncan pretty well. but you know, all the shops want 20% and i've always managed to sell em online so far. speaking of which have you seen the website?
