EBS Multicomp MXR Octave Multiwave bass distortion 3Leaf GR EBS Chorus EB VPJR Boss DD7 What do you guys think of this effect order? Some sugestions of different order would be appreciated. deej Posted January 7, 2011 Share Posted January 7, 2011 Personally I like my distortion after my filters, but thats just my preference for the sound it gives. Id put the volume pedal before any dirt too so that you can do some nice swells with them. Other than that, i'd probably keep the rest in the same order. I'm using something similar to your setup: Bass -> Korg Pitchblack | MXR Octave | Fulltone Bass Drive | EHX BBM | 3Leaf GR | [i][color="#FF0000"]EHX Microsynth (to be)[/color][/i] | Multicomp -> Amp so i also have my drives before the synths but my octave is the first. I find this setup to be the best compromise when using more than one pedal at a time (ex. octave+fuzz, octave+wah, octave+fuzz+wah, od+wah).
