( is this the first year for bolt ons ?) Action is super low, and sounds as clear as a bell. bell frets, and adjustable nut. no dints but has been used, could do with a oil change (wax) looking for a swap and cash either way for an early G&L L2000 fref old head, but must have the metal/chrome plate on the front, and maple neck, dont mind fretless. sorry about the crap photos al try and do them again if any intrest.. funkgod Posted September 24, 2010 Author Share Posted September 24, 2010 Cheers Mart your right, i had a later one, thinking it would be as good as this, 3 things made me sell it within two weeks, the neck as you say, feels slimmer and feels much more substantial on this than the newer one i had, and the other had a bad dead spot from the c note on the g string almost upto the 12th frett which really annoyed me, and the sound was not as clear or defined when on stage more boomy which i hated. this is almost a different bass, and would not get rid only for the one iv been after for a while now, thought it might tempt someone. someone must have one.
