1. Heres a review of one. MarkBass Little Rocker I know its in german but it gives you good idea of the sound you can get from one of these beasts. Now I want one!
 2. I think you need to have a read of the Barefaced website. They say that at higher volumes (plus 250watts) the Super Twelve will be louder than a 4x10. Obviously I havent heard it myself but quite a few people that own them say they are deafeningly loud. The RH450 was good but I was trying to make sure the beer fund was replenished before uni starts and I didnt need all that amp. I was looking at the LH500, many a good thing been said about them and they go for stupid money too. Thanks for the recommendations. AJ
 3. Isnt 'SVT Ginger Nuts' just stereo typing the ginger bass players that use SVT's?
 4. Hello hello, After having to sell my TC RH450 I am now looking for a new head. I have a Barefaced Super Twelve T coming next week and I'd like to get a head so I can use it. I am looking for a more vintage style sound. I recently bought a Marcus Miller Jazz bass and play alt rock so something valve pre amped/powered would be nice. I've read that these cabs are LOUD but I'm not sure at what wattage. I'd be looking for atleast 500 watts as 250 was no where near enough (used the RH450 and RS210C cab). Can only really spend about 300 so I'd be looking secondhand. Any recommendations? Cheers AJ
 5. Having owned a Combo 450 I can tell you that the wheels dont offer any 'heavy duty' portability - anything other than a laminate floor and the wheels will snag on the cab and 'burn through' onto the wood. I learnt this the hard way, first Combo 450 that came into DV I snapped up, walked it to practice about 10mins from my student halls along tarmac and paving, turned up at practice with a nice smooth wood hole showing through the covering behind the wheels. It also wasnt very loud. Struggled at most gigs with it, apart from a chilled out acoustic one, to get enough volume out of it to actually hear myself without it being cranked in the monitor. My recommendation would be to get another cab, the RS112 maybe, just so the whole 450 watts are coming through. The BG500 combos got some good reviews. Bass Guitar Mag's recent issue has a review. 4 1/2 out of five I think and they got someone to actually use one and review it for them. Definitely worth a look. Hope this helps. Cheers AJ

 10. Apologies to Fryer. I must make sure to read up on my T&C's. Haven't quite finished the law degree yet. Remind me not to become a salesman after it. This item is available to Bass Chatters at the stated price of £550 either cash on collection or bank transfer as to avoid those niggling paypal fees. Sorry again for any confusion. Cheers AJ
 11.
I think you need to make it clear that you are not willing to sell your item at the price you have advertised it for. Thus, I think it would be wise to withdraw it from sale IF you only want to sell the item on eBay. It's not really fair on BassChatters and - as it also constitutes an auction, as you are trying to 'up' the price, which is against T&Cs. Sorry, but have a think about what you prefer to do and make it clear on your advert please. Dood Moderator.
Apologies. Will do. Thanks AJ
 12.
I just offered the asking price, £575, but it's gone up to £600 ??
The ebay auction is going rather well, I could get a little more than £575 for it on there.
 13. Has anyone actually heard a good use of a bass with a whammy bar? I saw an advert for a Warwick 5 string bass with a Kahler X-Trem....... I'm rather interested to hear what this sounds like and if anyone has made it sound good. Please discuss.

 16.
OK, thanks very much. Will keep an eye on the auction.
Ok awesome. I'm not going to let it go for less than this. Cheers AJ
 17.
So..is the asking price inclusive of shipping?
Unfortunately not. I've not had a thorough look at shipping costs but it would have to be sent as a package and to insure it for the price it is over £40 with Parcelforce. Buyer is welcome to arrange their own courier and I can make sure I'm around to let them pick it up. Hope this helps. Cheers AJ
