1. Friday bump. Open to offers on this, before it hits ebay. Possibly trades too of basses of a similar value. Cheers
2. Right. Car related costs have just floored me and I have to get this moving. Open to offers on £665. Cheers
3. Some interest in this but nothing firm just yet, so uuuppp it goes.
4. Cheers W11ATO - you're right, it is a cracking bass for the money. Looks fantastic and unusual (but in a good way) on stage too - I had plenty of admiring comments the few times I gigged with it. Quality wise it's certainly on a par with my hand-crafted Sandberg I'd say.
5. OK, I was trying this at pretty near what I paid for it. That may be ambitious in the current market. So, let's call it £665 collected. No trades thanks. Just a reminder - this is in excellent nick (I'd give it a 9/10) and it comes with the proper Lakland hard case. Ger'up there.
6. This is here! First impressions - a very impressively built piece of kit, reassuringly solid, though I may regret that when I need to carry it in a rucksack with a laptop! I think they're probably right that you seldom need to refer to Live on your laptop when working with the Push - it seems to do all the key things you need right from the hardware. Which is good, because as Zenitram says, Live doesn't seem the most intuitive piece of software. Though I suspect much of that is down to the fact that it doesn't really operate in quite the same way as most other DAW packages we know and love - and therefore feel comfortable in. I guess that's more the case in it's "Session" view which seems angled towards live performance than its "Arrangement" view, which is bit more familiar feeling. Live 9 Intro, which comes with it, should certainly keep me entertained for a good while and the installed and additional free sound packs are pretty damn good, particularly in the drums department. Getting a simple drum loop and melodic bits and pieces up was quicker than I expected - Ableton's online vids are pretty quick at setting you up with the basics. I'm looking forward to getting really stuck into this....
7. Sold an EV5 expression pedal to Matt. Really smooth transaction - quick comms and even quicker payment. Thanks Matt!
8. Alex bought a big flightcased pedal board from me. Pleasure to deal with, very straightforward deal. I am now a little richer and have a house that seems a lot bigger - thanks Alex!
9. I'll keep you all posted, though my learning curve may be steep and slow! The Maschine does look excellent too but I just fancied the almost garage band type idea of playing and writing "graphically" which the Push seems built around. So I'm hoping this will be more of the same but with a lot more flexibility than you get with GB. Now all I need is to sell my Decade so I can pay for it......
10. Just sold my Eventide Modfactor to Pablo. Couldn't have been smoother - good comms, lightning fast payment. Top fella.
11. I've just ordered one of these beauts. Mine's on its way from Andertons who I've used before. Seems like a UK shipment has just arrived as a few places suddenly have them in stock - they seemed to be on back order with everyone till earlier this week. Will probably do more for my song writing than a 4th bass! (IMHO ) There are quite a few videos online about them and how to get started etc, so I'm looking forward to getting stuck in. But I just wondered if any basschatters had had any experience of using them? Cheers
12. I've-gone-and-bought-something-and-I-was-planning-on-selling-this-first-type bump. Hence price drop.
13. NOW SOLD AND GONE Having just sold my Modfactor, I won't have much need for my Roland EV5 expression pedal so am popping it up here for sale. It's in good condition, but doesn't have the original box etc. Looking for £35 posted in the UK or, if you can collect from either London or Colchester, make it £30. These new are upwards of £50 at the moment. I'll try to pop up a couple of photos this evening, but you probably know what these look like! Here's one (not mine obviously) - http://www.roland.co...mages/top_L.jpg Cheers
14. Took some photos tonight and here they are. Had a look over the bass again and it is in great condition, no dings. The first photo, taken with a flash, is the best representation of the colour - it's a rich red in the flesh, some of the other photos make it look a little more washed out than it is. There's a photo too showing the marks on the case - not at all bad. Cheers
15. Wow! PauBass breaks the land speed record! ON HOLD pending the usual...
16. NOW SOLD For sale is my Eventide Modfactor pedal in very good condition. Comes with the original Eventide power supply. This is an absolutely awesome pedal but, to be honest, its capabilities are beyond what I need right now. Very little used in the year or so I've had it. I've just added some Velcro on the bottom - easily removed if you so wish. When I got the pedal the power supply had a small split in the cable. This has been patched up with some (matching!) green electrical tape. This hasn't caused me any problems at all. Here's a link to the Eventide specs etc - http://www.eventide..../ModFactor.aspx And here's a great vid showing all the Eventide Factor pedals on bass - SOLD [s]£200[/s] collected from London or Colchester. Can post in the UK, but would much prefer collection. I can check out insured postage costs - don't think that would add more than a tenner. Comes with the original packaging and manual. Cheers
17. NOW SOLD. This is now on eBay with a buy-it-now price of £665. Once eBay and Paypal have their pound of flesh, that would leave me with just over £580 (by my back of a fag packet calculations). I'd rather sell it through BC obviously, so if anyone fancies this for £580 please shout. Collected from London/Colchester. Cheers! Morning For sale is my Lakland Skyline Decade. Comes with a very nice Lakland hard case. I got this from gentleman ShaunB on here a couple of years ago, though he only had it for a couple of weeks(!), having got it from Legion, again on here, who got it from iam. Proper basschat family tree! I'm looking for £[s]700[/s] £665 collected (from London or Colchester). I will be able to post some pics mid-week, but in the meantime, iam's post from a while ago shows the bass - http://basschat.co.u...cl-olhc-w-pics/ This Decade has the Chi-Sonic humbuckers and a coil tap (pull on the Vol knob). If you want them in Single Coil mode (the Humbucking mode is seriously phat) the Single Coil sound gives you more aggression. The neck absolutely fantastic on this - amongst the nicest I've played. The weight is pretty good (Legion weighed it at 8lbs 14oz though I've not since checked it) and it's beautifully balanced. This bass is currently at my bandmate's flat in Brixton. Condition is very good - it's only been gigged 2 or 3 times in the time I've had it, but I will check for small dings when I photograph it this week. The case has picked up a couple of scratches/very small tears since the pics that iam posted - just from being taken in and out of our old rehearsal lock up. That said, the bass has lived at home (or at my mate's) for the last 15 months or so and only been used on home recordings. As I say, I'll pop photos up later this week. No trades thanks - i need the cash Cheers
18. Yep, the raised section is fixed to the rest of the board. The board as a whole can be lifted out of the flightcase base o'course.
19. Photos here.....
20. I'm trying to compress my pedal board and so am downsizing from this large board. It has a velcro'ed board with a raised section (see the pics) but also comes with a non-velcro'ed flat board of the same size too. All in a full flightcase - which has the odd knock etc but is absolutely solid and sound. The flightcase has a couple of wheels at one end so it's easy to move around. Three proper flightcase handles - one either end and one on one of the long sides. Dimensions are - EXTERNAL 87cm W x 48cm D x 28cm H And once the lid's off the INTERNAL dimensions are 84cm W x 45cm D The raised part of the board measures 60cm W x 20cm D. Just enough room for power blocks etc beneath it - v handy. I'm looking for £60 for it, collected from Colchester. Can't post this fella!! I think I paid £70 for it from eBay a couple of years back and since I've had it its spent most of its time in a rehearsal studio or at home. No trades thanks, I need the cash money. Will post pictures later today.
