1. Be quick! Just £575 for the pair
 2. This is a fantastic effects unit but too much for what I need. I've decided to resort to taking a couple elf pedals around with me for gigs. The GT6B is in perfect condition and has only been used a couple of times. Comes with original power supply and will be shipped in the original Boss box. I'm looking for[s] £125[/s] to get this to a good home I'm now looking for £115 plus shipping. You know what these units can do and there's loads of stuff on Youtube. Details: GT-6B: Bass Effects Processor The GT-6B Bass Effects Processor is BOSS' first new bass multi-effects processor in over five years. This fully professional floor-based unit offers new COSM® Bass Amp Modeling with new modeled compression, plus other "must-have" effects like COSM overdrive/distortion, COSM wah and reverb/delay. There's also a true analog bypass, plus XLR and digital outputs for recording applications—making the GT-6B the leader in high-quality multi-effects for bass.

Professional bass multi-effects processor with COSM technology
True analog bypass and 24-bit converters for uncompromised sound quality
COSM Bass Amp Modeling recreates the tone of some of the greatest bass amps and speaker cabinets in history
New COSM Compression effect modeled after 4 well-known compressors
Ultra-intuitive interface with analog-style knobs
Built-in expression and control pedals
Versatile effects including "Auto Slap" and sound-on-sound looping
BOSS' best synth bass sounds with incredible tracking
Balanced XLR output and coaxial digital output for recording
5. Great pair of cabs for the New Year?
 6.
great rig
Thanks
 7. Just a consideration at the moment. Thinking of scaling down my rig and going as compact as I can. The projects I'm involved in do not require anywhere near the power that my current rig offers! So, I have two NY121 cabs, both in absolutely mint condition - only used for a couple of hours each. Not really looking for trades.
 8. Price reduction
 9. Returned to luthier.
 10. Bought Bob's Yamaha Bex. Lovely instrument and great guy to deal with. Thanks, Bob and may the fish be with you
 11. Keir bought my Ovation Elite bass. Great guy to deal with and the whole process was friendly. A true BC gent.

how's the tone on this one? I've never heard/touched a Shuker...
Jon makes exceedingly good basses This has an active/passive volume pot with no loss of volume when switching from active to passive. The range of tones are diverse ranging from a McCartney 'Come Together' tone through to a touch of Mark King slap tone. However, I like the pan pot just edged towards the back pick-up and this is the real 'sweet spot' for me. Here's a link to Jon's site and some sound clips: http://www.shukerguitars.co.uk/sounds.html
Looks lovely Pete, and know from experience the quality of JS' instruments. Could you add some photo(s) inside the control cavity and specify what was 'duff'/changed - has the bass been altered from the original EQ / pots. etc? (or was it JS who performed the rescue work?) Cheers.
Picture of control cavity as requested. The electronics have been checked, cleaned and serviced with the shielding redone. Quite a laborious task but well worth it.
