  1. I'm in 2 minds whether I want to sell this bass as they are so hard to come by, I don't think they're made anymore!

    It's a Neuser Courage 5 string.
I got this earlier this year after a long time trying to replace one I sold a while back but I'm just not playing it as much as I should so I'm cutting down on excess gear!
It came with an EBS onboard pre and Neuser's own pickups but I installed a Michael Pope Flex Core 4 band pre and Bartolini Classic Barts. This is a really great playing bass and now with the new pickups and pre it has a great range of tones! The original pickups and pre will be included too. The bass has been used but is in fairly good condition but does has some signs of wear and some marks.

    Specs:
    Neuser Courage 5 string
    Alder Body
    Maple top
    Natural Colour with Gloss Finish
    Ebony fretboard
    Neck thru
7 piece maple neck with mahogany stringers
    34" Scale.
Michael Pope Flex Core 4 band pre: bass, treble, hi mid, low mid, volume with tone roll off, pickup blend and an active/passive switch
    Bartolini Pickups
    Neuser Custom Bridge
    18mm string spacing
    Flush Mount Dunlop strap locks

Ships from Cork in Ireland in a hardcase. Case has some wear to it.

These pics are from before the new pre and pups went in, I'll upload some more later this week.

Pedulla's are real nice basses. Do you have any better / close up pics?

I'm away at the moment but I can post some better pictures on Thursday when I get home.

  3. Pedulla Thunderbolt 5

    Now £950!!!

It's a great playing and sounding bass but I just don't have the need for an extra bass and want to cut down on some of the gear I have. Wish I could justify keeping it because I'll probably regret selling it. It has a Michael Pope Flex Core 4 band pre installed too. These are great sounding preamps with loads of tonal options. The bass is used with some signs of wear. This is mostly on the back but the front and neck are in very good condition.

Maple body with a flamed maple top
    Rosewood board
    Bolt on neck
    19mm spacing
    34" scale
    Bartolini Pedulla custom pickups
    Mike Pope 4 band preamp
    New D'Addarrio strings
Recently polished frets and oiled fretboard

I'm not looking for any trades, thanks!

  4. Yes flippyfloop, they're great basses alright! I really like it and I've been back and forward about selling it but just thought I'd put it up for sale as I'm not using it enough to justify keeping it. :)

Thanks JazzBassfreak. I'm not really looking for any trades right now. The only thing I'd probably consider is a Fodera 4 or 5 string, 33" or 34" with dual coil pickups!

  5. I've decided to sell my Fodera Monarch (I traded this away a while back but bought it back soon after) as I'm mostly playing my 5 string bass these days. This is a great playing and sounding bass and one I wanted for a long time before I bought it. It has the very versatile Mike Pope/Fodera preamp. The controls are stacked volume and tone roll off (that works in both active and passive mode) pickup pan, bass, treble and mid (cut and boost) and the switches are an active/passive toggle and an on/off switch. It's in great condition for a 14 year old bass. The front and back are in excellent condition but there's a few small dings on the top of the headstock and there's some dings on the bottom from an old stand I was using (see pic). I'm not really looking for any trades right now. Ships in a Fodera tear drop case. The bass is located in Cork in Ireland.

    Specs:

    Monarch Victor Wooten Classic
    Flame Maple top
    Mahogany body
    Indian Rosewood fingerboard
    Dovetail Neck Joint
    EMG P/J pickups
    Pope/Fodera Preamp
    Emperor Control Layout
    Gold Hardware
    34" Scale
    19mm string spacing (adjustable)
    Completed April 2000

    Thanks for looking.

  6. Sadowsky RV5
    Candy Apple Red
    Alder Body
    Pau Ferro fingerboard
    Sadowsky Hybrid case.
    9.4lbs

I picked this up recently as I've wanted to try one for a while but didn't have the chance locally to play one. It's a great playing and sounding bass but I'm just not a J Bass guy, I think I've just gotten too used my the compact size of my Roscoe.
The bass was built in 07 or 08. It has Sadowsky pups and the Sadowsky pre with Volume, Pan, Treble and Bass (Boost only).
The bass has some marks here and there but nothing too serious. There are a couple of light dings on the back of the neck and one bad(ish) one at the top of the neck near the headstock/nut area. These don't affect playabilty.
Also, there is a very small crack where the B string tuner screw goes into the headstock. The crack is tiny and stable and does not go through to the front. From what I understand it happened to several earlier Sadowsky Metros.

    £1200 plus shipping.

I'm not really looking for any trades right.

If you have any questions please ask.

    Thanks for looking.
