Hi, the string spacing is 18.3mm and it’s adjustable. 

I’ve decided to sell my Roscoe LG Custom 5. This has been my main gigging bass for just over a year so has some signs of wear to the body, mainly the dings along the lower edge, probably from my belt (see last pic). Keith did a few custom changes when making this bass for me in order to keep it as compact as possible. He moved the bridge back and made the neck pocket a little in to the body to keep the reach to the 1st fret more comfortable so this bass is very easy to play. He also made the lower cutaway a little deeper for easier access to the upper frets. It’s also very light at only 7.9lbs!

Just picked up this amazing Fodera Monarch Victor Wooten Classic recently but I’m just more at home on a 33” scale 5 string so I’ve decided to let it go as it’s a shame to just have this just sitting at home and not getting much use. This bass was made in 2005 but it could nearly pass as brand new as it’s in excellent condition (I could only find one small ding on the upper horn!) The wood for the fingerboard also came from the same batch as the one used on Victor Wootens original Monarch #37! It also has an amazing upgraded Buckeye Burl topwood that is one of the nicest I’ve ever seen! This went through the Fodera Certified Preowned program back in about 2010 so has the newer Fodera/Pope Preamp that can have the frequencies adjusted by moving little jumpers inside. Signed by Victor Wooten on the back of the headstock!! Comes with a Fodera Teardrop case. Gotoh drop D tuner installed but comes with the regular Fodera tuner too  

I’m not really looking for trades but might consider a 33” Fodera Monarch 5 or Imperial 5 (with 24 frets)!

I’ve an old 32” scale Squier P Bass (E serial number which was after the JV series) from the early/mid 80’s that I was thinking of letting go. Has some knock and dings but plays and sounds great. Overall not bad for a 35 year old bass! Rare to find th these days too!

Love Roscoe basses! I’ve tried lots of different makes but always go back to my Roscoe!

To answer Jezzer1’s question the standard Roscoe string spacing is 18.3mm and it is adjustable.

Nordstrand Big Single 5 Pickups in a P4 size shell (approx 120mm x 32mm) for 19mm string spacing. Bought these recently and only used them a couple of times but I sold the bass I had them in so I put the original pickups back in and these are now no longer needed.

Hi, sorry they are humcancelling dual coils so there is no hum when solo’d!

Hi, the pickups were branded as Neusers own so I don’t know who manufactured them to be honest and I can get any new info on them as they are not made anymore. I can get the year of manufacture when I get home later and I’ll let you know then.

Yes he did, (I actually nearly bought that off of Mike when he was selling it but I just missed out on it!) this bass was actually based on that Imperial with just a few differences. 

Selling this reissue of a Burns Nu-Sonic short scale bass in excellent condition. Picked it up last year just to try out as I found an old picture of my dads band and he had one. It plays and sounds great and comes with a fitted Burns hardcase too. Very easy to play with the 30” scale and it weighs only 6.9lbs! It’s the earlier reissue too with the original style headstock instead of the newer batwing style one.

Selling my Fodera Imperial 5 (MG Shape). This is a great sounding bass and it plays effortlessly! I’d like to keep it only I’m not using it enough to justify keeping it, plus I’m getting married in just over a year so want to clear out some gear before that! It’s in great condition with only a few small marks on it. Only things to note about it are it didn’t come with straplocks or the Fodera truss rod tools but I can include a set of silver strap locks and I picked up the Fodera truss rod tools after I bought it so they’ll be included too. Comes with a Fodera standard Tear Drop case (1 latch is broken).
