Hey, I’m selling my Neuser Courage 5 string bass. These were handmade in Slovakia but are no longer made so are hard to come by, I’ve owned a few of these and they are great basses! It plays and sounds great! It’s a neck through, has alder body wings, a 7 piece maple neck with bubinga stringers and an Ebony fingerboard. It has a 3 band Bartolini preamp with mid freq selection switch. Scale length is 34”. String spacing is 18mm (adjustable) and it weighs about 9.5lbs. The bass has been used and has some checking throughout in the finish but it doesn’t affect the playability. 

Not looking for any trades.

Hi, it's strung with a low B since I bought it new and I've had no problems with the B on it. It could be changed to a high C fairly easily though. I know I've seen some people just change the strings and adjust the set up a bit without having to change the nut.

Hey man, thanks for the offer, I actually had an MGS before and found that 26 frets wasn't for me! That's a savage looking bass though! I always wondered who had that when I saw it went to ireland. 😄

Yes it is, to try keep it light weight that's why I had the body chambered and went for a swamp ash toneblock in it when getting it built. I had an Imperial 5 too which I sold recently and that weighed 10.7lbs (4.85KGs)!

I've decided to sell my Fodera 5 Imperial Elite (MG shape). Looks and sounds great but it's just not getting the use so I'm going to move it on. It has a MIDI pickup system that was installed by Fodera during the build and also went back to Fodera to have the electronics upgraded to 4 band. The bass has been gigged but is in excellent condition with just a few marks here and there.
