The temptation is really unfair.

Surely that's an enhancement?
It is if you don’t have small hands which have RSI issues!

lovely godin, is the neck the full width classical or the inbetween size? and i think i know the answer already if you are shedding guitars but are you up for trades at all? cheers
It’s the in between size - the MultiAc Grand Concert is full classical width, and the MultiAc Slim is almost electric width.
I’m really supposed to be shedding guitars... but could be tempted by something interesting.

For sale:
Godin MultiAc ACS SA Rosewood Edition (stunning figure in the top!) nylon string electro-acoustic guitar. Made in Canada, never gigged, basically as new. Complete with padded Godin gigbag.
It is in immaculate condition, and is the fantastic synth-access version with hex RMC pickups allowing either standard pickup use (with full EQ control), or use with a Roland GK-compatible synths and MIDI units. Very feedback resistant compared to normal nylon electro-acoustics.

£699 collected.
I have too many instruments and would like to rehome some of the ones I’m not really using. I am in South East London (Greenwich, Bromley, Croydon), collection preferred but may be able to deliver locally (socially distanced).

Recorded a better demo to showcase this fab bass, and the Godin nylon-string I am also selling (I will create a for-sale ad here shortly).

Damn, don’t do this to me!!
-
I have a medium scale neck that I’ve had sitting around for ages thinking I’d do a custom build, I’ll dig it out and list it.

If you’ve not owned a fiver before, I’d suggest that aiming to make this your one and only fiver purchase might be a tad unrealistic - most of us go through a few before we work out what we really like in a five string, they’re not really the same as four strings.
It’s a bit like asking what girl you should marry, and that you’re willing to date one and only one 😂

I'm surprised we haven't had a fanned-fret multi-scale SS bass. Something like 26-32", or whatever the maths dictates.
Or maybe someone already did and I missed it..
I’d definitely be game for a 30-33” six string!

Spacing and dimensions probably helpful!

I’m trying to get more bass uptake both at the school where I teach and the church where I worship. One obvious initial obstacle is getting a little setup which bass beginners / guitar-playing dabblers can afford while they figure out if they want to get serious.
So recommend me a little setup!
I think we’ll need a bass, a small amp, and a cable. If they can be ordered in one go from a retailer (or purchased locally) then all the better. Links and prices appreciated!

I'm thinking that my current idea - to put a medium scale neck onto a fullsize body - is going to be difficult unless I get a specific conversion neck to fit 61mm neck pocket. Thanks for the suggestions though!
Yeah, probably going to be all sorts of proportion issues too.

Hi, does it come with a case?
It didn’t come with one, but I have a few options in the house and am happy to negotiate something suitable with a prospective buyer.

Another early bird!

It is actually similar to the Dingwall Super scale (35-32” for the five string version). Intriguing instrument!
-
Ah, completely the wrong place as I’m in the South East 😂
Cheers for the reply!

Curious where you are in case pickup is an option? Asking mainly since £20 is a fair proportion of a bass that’s £105 shipped new, and I may be close by!

The issue here is that Eurosender are recommended as a sort of partner by this site, so it doesn’t inspire confidence if they are reliably unreliable.
FWIW, I have used them once to send a Sadowsky to the Netherlands for a trade, and it was a successful delivery.
