Correct and thanks for your input. I’m retiring soon.

Cannot tell the difference against a 500. The sound now, is as it initially left the factory.

Further reduction £1125

Ashdown 400w head. Professional sound. Nice condition. You’ll put your class d in the bin when you hear it.
I’ve just had a full check over/serviced by Ashdown to ensure a first class amp for sale.Variable 12AX7 valve drive pre amp. etc etc
Made in England in the early days.
Welcome to test here in Coseley, West Midlands.

GeoffThanks for the interest in Music Man! We have done some small runs for distributors including Strings & Things UK.On Mon, May 21, 2018 at 5:25 AM, Webmaster <[email protected]> wrote:Hi,

I must find out more information about this bass.

I understand what you mean now. Being a Precision player I’m not too much up on Stingrays, thought I’d give one a go before packing it in. I advertised this for what I paid for it. There’s no modifications to woodwork etc, it’s perfect. It must be a Stingray 4 or whatever you call it. Sorry if I mislead with ignorance, there was/is no pulling the wool over eyes on this site!, Im not like that anyway. I’ll knock £100 off now to £1225

Haven’t a clue what you’re on about

No reshaping here!

My last fling.
Absolutely excellent and beautiful condition, balanced warm tone. Weight 4.3kg. I’ve left the mirror scratchplate on, simple to put the original back.
Link to full info, so no bull.

Well, all change again. The Bergs did need a lot of power and after going through the class d heads and losing money with the so called power above 500W needed, I concluded this crap is not for me. Having tried many neo speakers and been disappointed with them, I thought I’d buy a Barefaced compact cab after reading the great reviews and plenty of push from the designer (why not?). It’s true, the drummer will tell you to turn down because he can hear you BUT I found the sound , loud clear, and irritating with no balls.
Hence back full circle after 3 years of trials, a Trace Elliot style set up, 1x15 cab and 2x10 cab. A stage further, recently I bought Ashdown compacts since the handles are in the horizontal plain and easier to slide onto the back seat as opposed to the Trace handles. I can put up with the Blues but may change for Celestions when they come up.

Wish I was closer and younger

That’s the one. Thanks

Yes, but don't plug anything else in the other 8ohm socket because the socket is wired in parallel with the other one and you will reduce the ohms which the amp won't like.
-
Would have been perfect, even better with two separate 8 cabs

Reduced to £215 and that includes delivery.
I’m retiring on NYE and will be dropping it to the lads about mid November but will dep after NYE until they are fixed up.
Sad really, only missed two NYEs in more than 50 years playing. I don’t want to pack it in but I don’t want to lose time with my grandkids like I did my kids - and my wife of course.

Price includes delivery to UK mainland

Id put a ‘like’ by your comments if I could!
