Yes, I used Adobe Premiere Elements for ours.
I extracted the audio tracks from the video tracks (band members used iRig or equivalent to record the audio for their video tracks) using Audacity - you can open a video track in Audacity and it grabs the audio. I then aligned the tracks and set the levels and exported to single MP3. In Premiere Elements I again aligned the tracks using the associated audio tracks and also imported the mixed track and aligned that. I then muted the video audio tracks to be left with the mixed audio.
The only thing I did apart from altering levels on the tracks was add a bit of reverb to the vocalist's track, and some compression to the drums.
It's useful if you get everyone to tap along to a click intro to the song to help with alignment. I also had a weird issue where the guitarist's video was running at a slightly different frame rate from the others (he started in sync, but ended up about 2 seconds out by the end of the track). So I used Premiere Elements to squish his video down very slightly to keep the sync correct throughout the song.
Here's the result, FWIW

Thanks! That's really helpful.

Can one of you kind people who own one of these do a couple of measurements please? I'd like to know what the string spacing at the nut is like, and also an idea of the string spacing over the neck pickup. I'd go out and try one, but that's not possible at the moment really!!

The guitarist has just lent me one of these pedals. As mentioned above, it works well into a Scarlett - I used it straight into a Scarlett 2i2 to record the bass for a "lockdown" video - sounds pretty good, though I say it myself.
If anyone's interested, here are my pedal settings
...and here's the result

For some more £££ than the HB, I think Fender are doing a Squier 51 Classic Vibe bass again now in white blonde...

Liking that darker "seam" down the middle, and a lovely bookmatch!

Yep, 1 or 3 for me too!

I've been eyeing up those Chinese necks - good to know they are worth a punt. I'm thinking of doing a more "barncaster" style build, so the bound/block neck might be a bit OTT, but there are some more straightforward necks available too that I may try - still tempting to go block/bound though! Might depend on how the body looks when I get going...

Very nice indeed!

You can get a liquid wood hardener or stabilizer. Its a watery consistency and just soaks in. Works a treat. Although I can't remember what make it is.

I think Phil described the differences between the 30 and 50l cabs very well in his first post - quoted below with my bold highlighting.
On 01/05/2018 at 07:55, Phil Starr said:The original cab was a 50l cab based upon the Beyma SM212 driver and designed to produce lot's of deep well controlled bass with a neutral uncoloured response, several people here have built versions of the cab and I've been gigging it for two years. My problem with the original cab has been that in rooms with poor acoustics there has been too much bass and I was tending to dial down the deep bass and boost the upper bass. It sounds great in non resonant rooms and out of doors but has way too much bass if you are shoved into the corner of a low ceilinged room. Since I had promised to demonstrate a cab build anyway I thought I'd squeeze the Beyma into a smaller cab which would reduce it's bass output but give it a 2dB boost in the lower mids/upper bass which I thought would help cut through in difficult spaces.

The one10 can also be used on its side and I think Barefaced say that it puts out more bass this way. Sideways should be easier to tilt.
For what it's worth - I have no trouble hearing a single one10 sitting flat on the floor in portrait orientation. A pair are just fantastic sounding.
Frank.
Ahh - interesting. That's OK then!!

What are people using to tilt back cabs that haven't got that capacity built in. Being the chihuahua of cabs, my much awaited One10 is likely to have my socks, not trousers, flapping unless I can tilt it back. And, a related question, what do people use to stop heads slipping off tolex covered tiltbacks? Tnx.
The One10 has a floor firing port that is (from the photos) set towards the back of the cab. I did wonder if angling the cab would mess with the performance of the port, but with it near the back it might be OK. However, you will need to be sure that whatever you use doesn't impede airflow for the port.... I would think that anything elevating the cab off the deck to any large degree might cause a loss of performance (though am happy to be corrected!!!)

...and just to reiterate - Mike is building these for me to repay a favour and has used up his last stock of lightweight ply.... he is not going to build them commercially!

Wouldn't it be easier to paint the baffle rather than tolex it?
Possibly, though I think Mike usually tolexes them. We'll see what he comes up with!

I looked at those square handles but was not sure how well they were sealed. Presumably they are fine?
Yes - particularly with the rebate and tolex tucking under for them to seat into. I know Mike used to use them when he was building cabs without any problems.

Are these alive yet?
No, they are being done in between Mike's "proper" work, so have to take a back seat. Hopefully quite soon, though!

It still looks like you're a couple short - no offence like.

Spondon's borrowed two for his nipples?

If anyone wants to bid on this, that is only 10 miles up the road from me - happy to collect and arrange courier shipping if it helps!

OMG why haven't I done that with my router, such an obvious idea, and your workshop is so clean and tidy compared with mine.
I can't claim credit for that - it is @Cosmicrain (Mike Walsh) who is making them for me as a HUGE favour using the remaining bits of ply he had left as I said earlier in the thread...
On 14/11/2019 at 18:49, RichardH said:Anyway, Mike has taken pity on me, and has offered to put the cabs together for me. I should stress that he is doing this as a favour to me - he is NOT going to make any of these cabs commercially, and doesn't have much left in the way of the poplar ply anyway. Stevie's flatpack kits are a much more sensible way to go!
...so it's Mike workshop that's the tidy one - mine is still in bits due to too many other (house related) projects needing doing first...

Some more progress on my cabs....
Two cabs now built and ready to have edges sanded and rolled. The bottom cab is going to only have the 12" driver in - though I will fit a horn with a blanking plate over the mouth, so if at some point in the future I want to turn it into a full range cab it can be done without getting the jigsaw out. Decided to "hand" the front baffles.
Edges sanded and square
Roll over cutter selected and height set
Rolling the edges
Edges rolled and ready to be covered in Marshall black levant tolex

Yes, that's really handy - thanks. 29.7fps sounds familiar!
