1.
I think they always did retail over £1000. I did see the P Bass version at slightly under that for a while around 5 years ago. Anyway, the Road Worn series are incredible and I'm a huge fan. Custom Shop on the cheap. GLWTS
Thanka for the comments guys, this is still available
2. Price dropped to a bargain £299!
3. The roadworn series are all Mexican made, but are significantly different to any standard Mexican models which is reflected in the price tag.
4. It's a very comfy 8.3lbs on the bathroom scales.
5. For sale or trade is my lovely 2010 Fender Road Worn Jazz in Fiesta Red. I have not had this for long, and have admired and wanted one of these since they originally came out. It doesn't disappoint, it looks, sounds and plays really lovely, but to allow me to continue trying basses I have an enforced one in one out policy, and I have to face the fact that it is not going to displace my DJ passive jazz from number one jazz bass spot. It is roadworn with all the knocks and bangs that they have, and it looks, feels and plays like an old bass, but with the added advantage of modern technology. Pictures below, I would say very good condition......for a roadworn bass! http://imgur.com/a/PZ3Sj A veritable racecar of a bass, the Jazz Bass® guitar was born in the '60s and became the favorite of players who put as many miles on the instrument as they did on their tour buses. The more it was used (and abused), the more it growled back and became even more comfortable. Fender's Road Worn® '60s Jazz Bass guitar delivers that aged look and feel. Designed with '60s specs, including a nitrocellulose-lacquer finish, and built to look, sound and feel like it's got more than just a few miles on it. 9.
Hello mate, Sweeet! What's the weight, neck shape and the nut width? Best regards Freddy
Hi freddy not to good with neck shapes! It's 38mm at the nut so very much like a jazz bass neck. Also a very comfortable 8.5 lbs as per the bathroom scales! Phil
10.
I have the ray 34 and have to say, these are awesome basses! all the best Andy
Thanks Andy yes they are great basses for the money!
11. Thanks pretty positive it is standard 38mm jazz neck, although I will double check when I can. The active 3 band is very usable and allows a massive scope. It can get close to an old 60's jazz Bass, and can also get a lot more bottom, more back pickup burp and the front one its own gives you a huge p bass sound.
12. Up for sale is my custom built jazz bass. This was put together by members on this site. Lovely sounding and looking jazz. Spalted maple top Mahogany body Flame maple neck with F***** decal Wilkinson black/brass bridge MEC p/ups, Copper shielded cavity Carvin active-passive (vol-pull) circuit Hipshot D-tuner Possiblyou trade for a precision or 5 string. No case for this just gigbag so collection from Essex area preferred. http://imgur.com/a/5Xwl9
13. Sterling by Musicman SB14 bass. Excellent condition (aside from a piece of tape helping to hold the battery cover in place) Sunburst with matching headstock and white pearl pickguard. Great sounding and built bass with a fantastic fast neck. In need of a 5 string so open to trades. Collection from Chelmsford preferred but postage is an option. http://imgur.com/a/s5HL9
14. Up for sale is my 2009 Warwick Streamer LX in Burgundy oil. This is pretty much in mint condition; I can’t find a scratch on it. Great bass with typical Warwick growl, and a very fast 38mm jazz like neck. I really like this but something else has come up, should it go I may withdraw it. Comes with Warwick rockbag, collection from Essex area preferred, but postage can be discussed. The pictures make it look a bit pinker than it is, it is more red in the flesh. http://imgur.com/a/oGhKV
15. Thanks for the comments guys. Yes I did try all possible options but didn't get rid of the rattle, plus it was just so dead also. Emailed Jason Howe at rotosound got an instant response and had a replacement e string come through the door the next day which I fitted, and rattle cured!
16. Thanks all that's very helpful I will drop them an email.
