Lovely! Trade for an Affinity P with cash my way?
-
+1 for Audacity, free & really simple to use. Output each song to MP3 & you're golden.
-
Also...love the way everyone's 'name & shame' when it comes to bad treatment from a venue/bad marketplace experience/other music store. Why is BD & its staff sacrosanct?
Just my two or pennorth. -
I had a less than satisfactory experience the one time I shopped at BD, including the 'too cool for school' vibe in store & a return experience with a faulty cab where it seemed Mark was not particularly interested throughout the process.
BD is definitely Marmite. It's like they've got PMT every couple of days (No pun intended). Is it too much to expect consistent service when essentially they're taking your dollar? You'd all moan loud enough if it happened in Tesco or Currys etc. -
Awesome, nice one!

Hooky Street from the end credits of only Fools & Horses, fantastic fretless in the Rockney style! Always loved it. Who's the bassist chaps?

Wot no bass solos? The breakdown in Forget You Cee Lo Green has some lovely noodles going on. Loadsa fun to play too.

Like others, been following this thread quietly and like other others, don't usually like [s]anything other than fender shapes[/s] single cuts, but this is absolutely stunning. Loving the tradecraft, the decision making, the quality of the work...the whole thing is fascinating and what a beautiful instrument it's turning out to be! Well done Andy, you're a very talented bloke

But that would totally ruin the choreography..!

Wow, never bothered to watch any Korn footage before. Crazy sh1t. They're not Bucks Fizz eh! -

have a back up plan where you don't use the wireless and just plug straight in.

I'd recommend going completely wired for your first gig. Wireless can be finnicky & could really trip you up if something goes wrong. -

Possibly a Sire Jazz in the background with Craig David ?

Yep, spotted that too. Great sound (y)
Katy Perry's bassist on a black jazz of some sort, maple neck. Some tasty fills on California Girls -
Really hope your work situation sorts itself out before this gets sold mate. Fingers crossed here bro.

Met up with Mike a little while ago and bought an Ibanez Mikro for my boy. Bass was in pristine condition and Mike was a gentleman to deal with. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend doing business with this guy!

120 mins on NYE with my 10 piece Bowie celebration band in a big arts centre here in Cardiff. 500 tickets sold & a long reserve list to boot. The whole thing is a Bowie tribute night & we're the centrepiece, so win-win hopefully. £200 odd a man, PA provided & secure room to store our gear till the next day. I'm stoked tbh!

Squier Precision Special with the J pickups. They go for around £150 odd used & the fretboard's like a cricket bat. They come up on here, Gumtree & the Bay frequently.

Didn't he do a swing album? Anyone who does Yet Another Swing Album should be shot immediately, no questions asked. That includes Michael Boob Lay.
-
Sounds like he's front loaded it with different reasons to justify not using you again, then tried to be nice at the end to soften it a bit. To me that looks like thanks but no thanks.
-
I did take pics of the installation process when I did it. I'll chuck em in the Build Diaries if any use
-
I did exactly this with my Squier VM P5. In my case it was a Badass II. I ended up siting the BA slightly further back than the original bridge to ensure I had enough travel for the B to intonate. Do this & you're golden. Along with taking all precautions to make sure it's dead centre etc.

But he did Angels, which is the Best Song Ever.
The tool. -

I got an email today from them. Apparently there were two bassists called George who responded to the ad and they assumed we were the same guy. The other George called off on them, hence the cancellation! They were really very apologetic and sound genuine. I'm tempted to give them a bash... I'll mull it over!

All sounds a bit Scooby Doo to me. Watch yourself.
