SOLD - PRICE DROP - £850 Hi Another Stingray up for sale here. This is a beautiful and near mint condition 2008, still with all it's case candy unopened. I have checked over the bass for marks and the only ones I could find are some hairline scratches on the scratchplate (I guess the clues in the name!). Other than that, I can't see anything and you know how unforgiving gloss black is.. So, it's all there. Almost as if it came straight out the shop. These sell for £1700 so I think my price is fair. Yes, there's a fair few around but if you want what appears to be a virtually brand new bass for £700 less than a new one then this is it. The added bonus is that it's 8.5lbs. It's a beautiful 9.2lbs. Almost unheard of in original Ray territory. And yes, I already have an '89 and a 2008 (which will be going up for sale soon). I'm happy to look at payments in instalments. A few peeps have offered me that before so that I could get vintage basses and I always promojsed myself I'd offer it if I could (which I can)

Withdraw due to lack of interest. No longer for sale Here is my original 1977 MusicMan Stingray in Sunburst with Black Guard. All complete. Pots, epoxy pre-amp, original frets, nitro paint finish. The only thing missing is the original case but it comes with a good quality replacement. This one has a beautiful flame on the neck which has aged to a wonderful honey colour. There are of course some dinks and dents corresponding with age but nothing serious. The body has some nice lacquer checking and patina which give it the desired mojo A killer sounding and playing bass with the added bonus that it's 9.2lbs! Photos are here.
