  1. “In Rainbows” by Radiohead I was fond of a woman. It was the night of a group art show that I was in. I missed many phone calls that night—we were making out in the car; In Rainbows had just released and it was playing. Our relationship never amounted to anything and I likely missed a few sales maybe missed a career but that moment is in stone along with this album
  2. I’d like to discuss 80’s bass tones pls what are your favorites whom do you recommend & how to achieve them? specifically I’d love to mimic Bakithi Kumalo’s sound from “Boy in the Bubble,” on Paul Simon’s Graceland
  3. I just discovered _Peter Gabriel 3_ (1980). Also listening to _So_ (1986). Lovely bass tones on both records. Standouts, “I Don’t Remember,” “Games Without Frontiers,” “Not One of Us,” & “In Your Eyes,” which you’ve all heard. I love that 80’s bass tone. Kumalo the pinnacle on Paul Simon’s _Graceland_, and of course Taylor on Duran Duran _Rio_.
  4. this is it as of now Sometime in the future I’ll add ampeg scr-di & boss sy1
  5. Yeah, I usually don’t go for chrome They sound really good on this
  6. You should! lightweight tuners made a big difference for me also experimenting with strings. T.I. Jazz Flats are superb on this. Did yours come with Dean Markley blue steel?
  7. Imagine it in violin brown
  8. Fixed bridge, hardtail conversion, experiment with pickups It wasn’t easy to find a gauge both heavy enough for the 6th string to intonate properly, and light enough to leave space between strings. It made me approach guitar differently that’s what. I wish it worked for me. in the end, dispatched
  9. I have Hipshot Ultralight tuners to install. Stock tuners must go. I’ve had a few Casady basses in the past; I’ve done this to all of them.
  10. Magnificent bass. I just want to play it and do nothing else. D’Addario Chromes are sufficient. I’ll keep them/won’t likely change for rounds as intended. Fret markers are at the fret lines not at the dots. A little odd but I’ll live. I may stain the top a deeper color (if it takes). I’m pleased and inspired to play more.
  11. Boss mt2 metal zone. I’m using it as a preamp I love the eq. It sounds good with the drive turned down. i’m looking at their new PX1 multi effect next. An emulation of all their vintage petals. I might enjoy SY1 more w bass
  12. U2 lads must be billionaires by now
  13. Mine just arrived. It’s brilliant. Someone at Epiphone was inspired by the Takamine TB10.
  14. That’s the brand—they are used w some Gretsch guitars strong pickup, sounds good
