  1. Me too, get me a time travel machine!
  2. Awesome story! Great tone on that bass too
  3. Whatever works for the player I always say
  4. haha... not as true as some may think NickA
  5. Agreed on all counts, incredible instruments
  6. Interesting observation, my only counter to this is that still sell well new and a demand is there from a certain type of customer
  7. We are also as reasonable as we can be with our prices, for example a pre-owned Series 1 in stock at £5500.00...
  8. Poly on all these basses, looks absolutely stunning in person
  9. 17.5mm string spacing on these Hadrien Feraud Burners
  10. Whatever works best for you at the end of the day, there is no right or wrong.
  11. It is currently being edited, hang fire for a while and keep check on our social media accounts and Youtube
  12. A true single coil pickup will always sound more 'open' and 'natural', than a dual coil that has been split in half
  13. But it will never sound like a true single coil due to magnetism
  14. Well no, they are completely different, not better or worse
  15. Just a heads up, we have filmed a short video on the 5 Burners we have in today, keep your eyes peeled
  16. Biased opinion here potentially, being as we sell these AND we are big fans of Hadrien's playing. Massive fans of these basses, they are beautifully made with some of the best setups I have ever played. The necks are thinner in dimensions in terms of the back to front measurement, pretty lightweight and versatile enough tonally
  17. Get a decent strap and some weights
  18. All great basses, had the pleasure of having all of those through the shop over the years!
  19. Hi - I have only ever felt neck dive on the small body basses, I personally have a Series II in 32" which is balanced, but very heavy (even with the chambered body) It was me (Marcus), who spoke to Alembic and got them in, I have been passionate about this brand for as long as I can remember, so I am extremely excited about this Have a great day
  20. They are amazing basses, the build quality is just off the charts and the range of tones from one bass is pretty much unmatched (to me, we are all different of course) I can't wait to be displaying these basses here, I dreamt of owning an Alembic for years as a kid, and had one myself for a few years, which is just dreamy! Hope to share some Alembic love with all the UK guys! Cheers for the comments
  21. Drop us an email if you ever need help, I have an amazing tech here who has done lots of work on Alembic over the years
  22. We cannot wait, we have a couple of Stanley's and a Mark King to get us underway, then no doubt we will have some series basses etc down the line somewhere
  23. but is it 1/4 of the bass, thats the question ;), Seriously though, each to their own, and if you can afford it great, if not then get a pre-owned example
