1. Oh come on! Look at that lovely grain ^_^ and you can get some seriously funky tones from those pickups. The bridge is full of honking high mids and the neck pickup is full of growl, combine the two for some really groovy stuff. A must for Cream fans! I would rather no money changed hands but for reference its £200 new if you want to give or take a few bob. I'll throw in £20 for a CV, VM or Deluxe Squier (not fussed which, they're all damn sexy!)
2. Ah! Forgot about pictures, give me a minute and I'll put 'em up. And they're up!
3. Things certainly have a way of fixing themselves! This is no longer for sale as I have solved my money issues. May be open to interesting trades though. (Would love a CV Squier...)
4.
Right - the 5er is a Tanglewood Rebel 5K. Nice action, a little bit of neck bend but nothing to be worried about, still plays ok. Sounds really lovely (Entwhistle pickups, P/J style). http://i574.photobucket.com/albums/ss189/g...03/DSCF0308.jpg http://i574.photobucket.com/albums/ss189/g...03/DSCF0309.jpg http://i574.photobucket.com/albums/ss189/g...03/DSCF0310.jpg The fretless is a Ventura (4 string, again a P/J style). Really nice sound, proper fretless "wom", pictures on a post in this thread: http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=69115 Both are admittedly second hand, but in really good condition. I've been to a couple of stores and they reckoned they would sell for £100 each, so I'll make up the defecit. I could also throw in a ritter bag.
I'll think about it, not saying it's a bad bass but I'm looking for a more reputable brand.
5. YOu've certainly got my attention! Just a few queries though, is the fretless the same make? What colour are they? What's their condition? And how much cash would you be willing to add on top? Obviously pics would be a bonus. Just updating: its been given a set up and a clean and also restrung with some Ernie Balls I found under my bed (not my favourite brand but better than the dead ones it had one before.) Nice low action, can even get some metal 'clank' out of it if you want.
6. Well I'm in deep sh*t with my bank and phone company so £125 for the next week, that's £65 less than I paid and its in the same condition!
7. I bought this a few weeks ago as a backup bass, Epiphone basses have a shaky reputation but I think I got a gem here, tried out a load of basses in the shop (all of them more expensive than this) but I walked out with this one. Perfect condition still and a really nice grain (pics up in a bit). This may be back up for sale now. Due to my own deafness and the absurd incompetence of a certain delivery company I'm a week overdue sending this bass off and the trader's GAS is starting to wear off so I have proposed selling this bass and using the money to pay for the bass he sent in full. I will post a price as soon as I have one from him. This is collection, meet up or personal delivery only with the buyer covering as much of that cost as possible (depending on where you are, I'm in Morecambe in the North West so places like Manchester are ideal. Bigger cities seem to have cheaper fares. Also I'm on study leave so I can get off-peak fares.)
8. I'm out of money, sh*t! Buy my stuff please! *Ahem* Another shocking encounter with the cash machine, and more pedals than I use. [s]Ashdown Lomenzo Hyperdrive - £30 (rrp £60) This has a little fault with the footswitch, if you don't give it enough oomph when you step on it it will cut the signal entirely. I doubt this is a problem unless there is something wrong with your legs.[/s] Electro Harmonix Worm (inc. power supply) - £30 (rrp £70) [s]DHA VT-1 Purist, slightly dodgy. Occasionally refuses to work, should be simple enough to fix but major price cut anyhoo. (inc. power supply) - £40 (rrp £150, I think?)[/s] Ibanez Weeping Demon 7 (currently being borrowed by a friend, he may be buying it, not sure yet.) - £40 (rrp £100) Prices don't include postage, 1st class shouldn't go above £5 but more if you want special delivery. Would prefer paypal or bank transfer, I don't mind cash but I'd need to wait for it to arrive for me to send the pedal Anymore pics or details, just ask! Prices are fixed, don't ask for money off please. I think the prices are pretty good as they are.
9. Sold, at long bloody last.
10. Well I've been toiling with it all day and I've decided to be grown up and take the cash much as I'd like those pedals cash is short than I had though, Sorry deej! (I'll pm both of you in case you don't see this.)
11. Aw sh*t, you wait forever for a bus to come along, etc etc etc...
12. I doubt I could justify £330 for the Deep Impact but if you're interested you have the bass for the other two pedals or £150 for one of them (choosing may be difficult)...
13. Good grief! Those ARE interesting. How much are looking for for each?
14.
I wish I had some money at the moment, i really want to try a 6 string and something like this seems perfect. I might try sell off a few more pedals to raise funds.
I could always take p/x if you have any pedal of interest, I got my ATK back so I don't need a replacement.
15. Someone buy this goddamn bass!
16. Is that Pbass MIA or MIM?
17. I WANT IT Would you be interested in a Schecter Stiletto Studio 6 + £200?
18. Would you be interested in p/x off a Schecter Stiletto Studio 6?
19. Would you be interested in a Schecter Stiletto Studio 6?
20. I bet if the price were higher you'd be on it like flies on sh*t
