2. Text sent, bass still for sale.
3.
These are awesome bang for the buck, buy in preference to any current SUB, Sterling by EBMM, Ray34 yadda yadda... If you don't have a real 2EQ Ray, these are the next best thing.
Totally right mate, they are great basses. I have owned a few over the years.
4. Alright guys, Selling an original active USA SUB Stingray in Black. Seen a bit of action in its time, usual chips and roadworn wear to the paint work (mostly on back on neck and headstock). Usual classic active two band Stingray EQ, sounds nice. I have gave it a clean up (oil fretboard etc), new battery and restring with some brand new 45's, obv a setup to your preference recommended. I have taken off the original metal/cardboard pickguard it came with, l think it looks better without it, but it will be included with the bass. For shipping the bass comes with a brand new hardcase (including keys), ideal for touring & shipping it. Nice bass, blows the new sterling SUB series out the pond IMO. Serial number is X16172 which makes it and early year production SUB. PICTURES (before clean up / restring) - SOLD PENDING USUAL. trades - 4x10 cab (Hartke hydrive etc). Bass is in Glasgow if anyone fancies a shot. Cheers.
5. My 1990 SR4 with a new Status neck . . . zingtastic!
6. Thanks for the offer, sorry l forgot to update the thread. Since no one was interested for ages, l bought a PU and the bass is away to get a full overhaul and all the work done to it. Sorry man. Cheers
7. Pictures are promised . . . . . (l took the strings off there as they were done, l will include a new set with the bass to the new owner). Excuse the awful bedsheets lol
8. Right, bought this back for the 3rd time last week from the forum! Everytime l have sold it l have missed it sorely, but l really need the cash to get a new cab & recording computer. Bit of me kind of wanted to keep a hold of it as they are quite rare in white & it blows the new sterling sub's l have tried out the water. IMO every bit as good as a USA ray. Great sounding bass, usual marks, scuffs & wear expected from a giging axe. Taken from my last advert on it - Dave wrote (hope you dont mind mate) - When I got the bass it had a broken tuning peg, had a horrible rattle somewhere and the neck had been badly refinished at some point. I got a local luthier to strip the neck back and oil it like the stingray necks on more expensive models. He fixed the tuner, located and repaired the rattle, gave it a fret dress/polish and gave it a full set up with ernieball strings. The result is a great sounding and very playable bass Scratch plate was removed before I got it. Serial number is 000154 which could make it an early one. Condition is as above but I would recommend a new setup and re-string on it as the ones on it are deed. Asking £350 which includes a hardcase & UK postage. Bank transfer prefered but l can take paypal (with the fee's paid). Thanks Chris! NEW PICTURES COMING TONIGHT!

15.
What kind of Fleabass did this start out as? There are a few models that I can see on this page: http://myblackguitar...e/products.html
Based on the Touring bass l think mate, its defo no the smaller junior size. Its this one here - http://www.ebay.co.u...=item2a29d1be89 Now £100
16. Alright guys, I have been into home recording for a few years now, nothing seriously heavey . . . mostly acoustic & vocal stuff. I have a Focusrite Scarlett 18i6 + Focusrite Octopre & have been running a Dell laptop with Reaper & Cubase. I am thinking of pulling the trigger on a Mac of some kind and changing to Logic which l used all the way through music college. I am looking at a Mac Mini's 2.5 i5 or 2.3 i7, both have 4gb ram which l am thinking of upgrading to 8gb . . . . whats folks thoughts of this setup? I have a monitor, apple keyboard & mouse already. This setup is just over half the price of a basic macbook pro, any view of what am l better with? Cheers guys!

19. +++++++++++ WITHDRAWN++++++++++++++++ Right guys, This is my second Fleabass that l own. I bought x2 of the unfinished white primed basses last year, first one l put a EMG40dc pickup in and used it on tour as a throw about bass . . love it! It is a keeper, but l thought l could still get more of a mental sound from it with a full MM pickup. This one l bought with the idea of making a pumped up Fleabass with the following mods - * Cutting P/U hole bigger to fit Musicman pickup * Drill new Jack plug hole in side of bass * Sending the newly modded body and neck away to get a paint refinish. * Install Musicman P/U * Install Retrovibe Stinger Bass EQ (http://www.probass.c.../StingerEQ.html) I bought a Dremel router and battered in as they say . . . Result not the best job, but a musicman size pickup now fits in the P/U hole. I let my brother take a can of Ford yellow signal paint to the bass, and he made an arse of it . . .the paint will sand off no problems as the coats didnt apply right and the coat is balls. Why am l selling? last week l got the chance to buy back my trusty original white MM SUB bass back from a forum user, and my girlfriend is moaning about the amount of bass here. So the project is listed to see if anyone fancies taking it on? What you get - Never giged/played Fleabass Badly spray painted PU hole made bigger to fit MM Pickup Brand new Retrovibe Stinger Bass 2 band EQ preamp (http://www.probass.c.../StingerEQ.html) Brand new All parts jack socket/plug Brand new Fleabass gigbag What needs done - Buy a MM pickup (Bassline, Nordstrand, Musicman etc) & install that and preamp. Drill 10mm hole for jack socket Sort out paint job assemble everything (tuners etc) and restring. How do l price this???? Bass was £200, preamp was £49, jack £12 etc. . . . [s]£120[/s] £100 + P&P for the lot anyone? Make an offer as well guys! Bass in Glasgow if anyone wants to come see everything.
20. This is a highly versatile piece of equipment. It is capable of a wide spectrum of sounds from mild overdrive, raw distortion, and fuzz, to the very synthy with the multiwave foldback or octaved thing happening. There's a lot of play with all the different pre-set sounds due to the "drive" control. Also, the seperate "clean" and "distortion" level controls lend themselves well to tweeking the tone and intensity. The pedal can hold the bottom end as a result of being able to blend the clean signal in. Oh, and it is also "hot-hand" compatible, if you like such gadgets. The pedal is boxed, in perfect working order, and excellent overall condition. Velcro has been added to the underside for attachment to a pedal board. Sale price is £70 (posted) Product Info ... http://www.sourceaud..._distortion.php Demo video (this guy likes the more far-out sounds.
