I'm a double bass player, rockabilly slap, and Ben looking fir sunbathing to use traveling with, caravaning etc where I can have sunbathing with me that doesn't fill the caravan. I've got a ubass which sounds OK, but it's not an upright, and I've never liked the look of say the sticks like the stagg etc. Then I found the yamaha slb100, 200 etc, and thought that looks more passable, the found this thread and looked up the MK, very similar in looks to the yamaha, but interesting to read that this seems to be winning you guys over vs the yamaha. Sticking point a bit is the price point, costs a lot more than my main gigging set up lol, but I really am intrigued. Any come up second hand at a reasonable price? I think I saw one in Kent go for £400 but I'm guessing that's a rare find.
