It’s not often I see one that both captures the correct “glow” of some of the original, real tortoise shell pickguards - but also has the size of truss rod access that is required on a modern Fender (such as the Am Pro II).

I always sort of feel if you’re going tort, really go for it - and that fits the bill nicely.
That bridge looks like it was previously used for poaching rabbits.
Did it originally have a cover, or mute mechanism that was held in place by that bolt?
