Hello I am selling this beautiful instrument. Ideal for learning. My son used a school bass to start with and was bought his own instrument when he was 14 when he could actually play, we bought the Stentor Student 2 as advised this was appropriate for an improver at his level. He played it, gradually getting to be a good player, school orchestra etc until he left school at age 18 and since then it has been sitting in a corner looking lovely but lonely, and latterly has been in its case in his old bedroom. My son has now moved abroad permanently (Japan) and sadly will not play this any more, and it really needs a new home - Instruments are for playing not for decoration! The stand, travel bag, bow etc are all included. Bought in 2011 at and set up professionally by Caswell's of Brackley and still in first class condition. Upgraded to Helicore strings and originals also included. If I could play it for you I would, but I am a non musical Mum. Current retail for a new one at Caswell's (standard strings ) is £1895.
