  1. A very warm welcome James.
  2. As a practice amp i use this, it's the 112 v2,it sounds great at low volumes, and has a minus 15 db button as well,i live in a flat and have to consider my neighbours so low volume practice is about all i can do(until they go out then it gets loud and sounds even better😆) i think you can get these pre owned quite cheap.
  3. Only have one of those and it uses multidirectional trackballs.🤭
  4. All of my left handed basses are anti clockwise for louder and clockwise for quieter.
  5. If this is the first one you have had this issue with? it definitely sounds like leftie wiring. Tech must have been having a bad day🤣
  6. This is my string damper it's very effective but snores like a rattling drain cover and his farts have been classed as chemical weapons. But i love him dearly.
  7. Sounds like one of them might have the pots wired for leftie, that i think would give reverse operation of volume and tone pots.
  8. Yes bolt on neck. Gold coloured hardware. Not sure if colour is original but i think all electrics are,i bought it about 5 years ago for £140. Sadly not getting much love atm it currently lives in the cupboard😭
  9. It's just so nice i had to post a photo, don't get played much nowadays, concentrating on bass.
  10. Hi all, i have an epiphone eb0 that desperately needs a new pickup and electrics, i would like to go solderless if possible, i am thinking about di'marzio dp120 with push pull for series parallel operation but not to sure, any advice would be very gratefully received. This is my backup bass for when my shoulder injury acts up and stretching to the low end becomes awkward. Music played, classic rock, reggae, soul, blues well almost anything really. Cheers all, looking forward to suggestions.
  11. Trying to learn two atm, first is nib by Black Sabbath ,the intro is the hardest part, second is billy bad breaks by the Damned it's just an awesome lead bass track. Enjoying every second as well.
  12. Plain buttered scone for me👍
  13. Here is my favourite headstock from all of my basses, is it the biggest ever? Does your bass have a bigger headstock than my thunderbird? ( just over 11 inches )
  14. My 2009 squire precision standard
  15. I know it's confusing🤯
  16. The two righties have been converted to leftie👍
  17. Here are my basses having a rest on the settee. (Edit)forgot to mention sofa is a 2009 black leather model from dame hannah rogers charity shop, mods are i have raised it on some bricks to make seated playing more comfortable for me.
  18. Hi everyone, here is my collection of lefties, hope you enjoy.
  19. As promised here is a photo of my bass collection so far, yes they are all lefties even the 2 right handed Epiphones which i converted to leftie myself, ,pictures of gear to follow, if anyone would like close ups of any of my basses please let me now and i will be happy to oblige.
  20. Hi everyone. A very warm and hearty hello,as a complete newbie to this kind of thing please forgive my lack of knowledge i hope to remedy that with the kindnesses of members, i am well into being middle aged(some say well past it,lol) into all types of music as long as it has bass and have been noodling around with guitar and bass for about five years and committed to bass for the past three, in that time i have amassed a small collection of gear, photos of which i will post later when i resize the images, here is a list in no particular order, 2019 epiphone thunderbird vintage pro tobacco burst 2002 i think mexican fender jazz bass sunburst 2001 epiphone eb0 cherry 2019 hofner ignition bbass Unbranded but modern stingray (copy) 2009 squire precision standard metallic black Fender rumble lt25 digital modelling combo Ampeg ba112v2 Boss GT-1B bass effects processor Boss FS-6 footswitch Korg pitchblack poly pedal tuner Various backup clipon tuners Amoon wireless bass transmitter and receiver Wow that took longer than i expected too type and i didn't even list mt guitar kit(don't worry I won't) Anyway if you made it this far thank you and photos of all gear will follow soon. Cheers
