Hello, I've been an on and off bassist for maybe 12 years and am hoping to break out of the latest off patch. Recently sold my five-string Thunderbird whose looks couldn't compensate for its prolific neck dive, and I have a slightly random collection of gear due to the whims of teenage me: Fender '98 MIM Fretless Jazz Tanglewood TAB1CE Boss Micro Cube Bass RX In the market for a five-string to fill my fretted solid body-shaped hole, thinking a Stringray for the grin they put on my face? Historically I've played a mix of pit work, Scottish trad with people, motown for fun and jazz to push my technique. Hoping to get inspired to play more and work out what I need to play with folk more regularly.
